Our Reading
The game followed a familiar script.
Stroud’s contract talks are just another chapter in his story, one of high expectations and playoff disappointments.
He’s shown flashes of brilliance, but the Texans’ offense can be inconsistent.
Stroud’s focus on improving his game is admirable, but it’s hard not to wonder if he can lead the team to deeper playoff runs.
This one felt recognizable early, with Stroud’s dual-threat ability and strong arm making him a threat, but his inexperience and occasional accuracy issues holding him back.
Original observation: He’s got the talent, but can he transcend the Texans’ mediocrity?
