The study’s findings suggest that the average beer price at the 100 schools surveyed was just north of $10. The most expensive team, Stanford, came in at twice that price.
There are at least 18 college football stadiums that sell brewskis for an average of $8 or less. The team at the top of this list allows guests to grab a drink for just $3 a pop!
At these venues, alcohol is both easily accessible and fairly priced. Schools range from Group of 6 representatives all the way up to national title contenders.

Texas is one of the biggest brands in college football. They probably wouldn’t have much issue selling beer regardless of price. With that said, they’ve made an effort to keep costs low for attendees.
Longhorns fans can enjoy a beverage for an average of $8. That matches nine other schools that offer similar pricing.
Aggie Memorial Stadium
At New Mexico State, fans can keep some cash in their wallets thanks to an average beer price of $8 a glass. While it’s higher than you might pay at your local watering hole, it’s on par with an offering you might see at your favorite brewery.
Aggie Memorial Stadium holds just under 30,000 fans. With an overall record of 345-629-14, those patrons are thankful for the low beer prices as the team often struggles to produce wins on the field.
Bridgeforth Stadium
At James Madison, fans can enjoy frosty brews for $8 each. Unlike the previously mentioned Aggies, they get to guzzle those drinks down while rooting on a winner.
The Dukes are 43-11 since joining the Sun Belt Conference in 2022. That came after a dominant run in the FCS. In most cases, supporters leave feeling both happy and a little tipsy after a Saturday afternoon victory.
Gerald J. Ford Stadium
The second major Power 4 program from the state of Texas to make the list is SMU. The school was one of the first to start selling beer in 2014.
Like the Longhorns, the Mustangs have enjoyed recent success in the College Football Playoff era. And like the school located three hours south, fans can drink for $8 a beer.
Gerald J. Ford Stadium is a bit smaller than Darrell K. Royal, meaning the Mustangs can’t cash in quite as much on alcohol sales as Texas. That has not forced them to raise their prices over the last few years.
