The expanded concourse will feature new dining venues, retail spots, art, and amenities, including a rooftop solar photovoltaic array and an enclosed outdoor viewing deck. Alaska Airlines is also building a two-story, 40,000-square-foot lounge in Concourse C, set to open in late 2027.
Our Reading
The escape is carefully planned.
The Concourse C expansion promises a break from the usual airport chaos, with its expansive new space, rooftop solar panels, and stunning views of the Olympic Mountains. Travelers can expect a variety of new dining and retail options, as well as a live music stage and an interfaith prayer and meditation room. The concourse’s design, led by The Miller Hull Partnership and Woods Bagot, aims to bring a sense of the Pacific Northwest to the airport. And, of course, there’s the obligatory Alaska Airlines lounge, because what’s a Seattle airport without a nod to the region’s favorite airline?
