Summary
The Philadelphia Eagles are struggling with quarterback Jalen Hurts, as their offense ranks near the bottom of the league. The Eagles are dealing with injuries and personnel changes, including the loss of key players like Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown. Offensive coordinator Sean Mannion’s system doesn’t fit Hurts well, and the team lacks elite wide receivers. The Broncos’ offense, led by Bo Nix, is also underperforming, prompting head coach Sean Payton to take control of the play-calling. Marvin Harrison Jr. has been traded to the Texans, and the Jets’ rookie defensive end David Bailey is having a standout season with five sacks in five games.
Our Reading
The game followed a familiar script.
Philadelphia’s offense sputters, Hurts looks lost, and the Eagles’ playmakers don’t scare anyone.
Denver’s pass game is a mess, and Payton is back in the play-caller’s chair.
Harrison’s move to Houston is a Hail Mary for a struggling offense.
Bailey’s sacks are the only highlight for a Jets team that needs more than one star.
