Our reading
Frasers Group has now achieved the holy grail of corporate maneuvering: owning more than half of a brand that once stood for crisp tailoring and German precision. They did it without asking anyone’s permission. It’s like buying a house and then telling the previous owner they’re now a tenant in their own living room. The new board members, including the CEO’s son-in-law, are already setting up shop, as if Hugo Boss was just another retail outpost to be rebranded and reorganized. The only thing missing is a sign that says ‘Welcome to the Frasers Experience.’
