Our Reading
The launch follows a familiar script.
Another “game-changer” AI solution has arrived, promising to make our lives easier. But instead, it’s just giving employees more to do. The study claims that AI has not reduced workload but has led to an expansion of tasks and responsibilities, resulting in longer working hours. We’re seeing the same old pattern – more work, more stress. And, of course, more promises of “AI-powered productivity” that never quite materialize. The real question is, will we ever learn?
Apparently, AI is so good at freeing up time that employees have just filled it up with more tasks. Because who needs a work-life balance, right? And don’t even get me started on the “AI-powered to-do lists” that are just a fancy way of saying “more work for you.”
In the end, it’s just another example of how AI is being touted as a solution to our problems without actually addressing the root causes. And we’re all just stuck in this never-ending cycle of “innovation” that never quite delivers.
AI is supposed to make work easier, but it’s actually making it worse.
