Summary
The Baltimore Ravens have announced Jesse Minter as their new head coach, replacing John Harbaugh. Minter, who previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers, has been part of Jim Harbaugh’s coaching staff at Michigan. He will sign a five-year contract with the Ravens.
Our Take
Once again, we were told to believe. A new head coach who was on the staff? Groundbreaking! Minter must have loads of experience losing playoff games close. Fans know the drill: hire a familiar face, promise to fix the defense, shake our heads when old patterns emerge. Must admit, though, there’s something comforting about the same old coaching cycle! The enthusiasm is palpable, at least until we see the same game management from the sideline. Hope survives another week.
