Summary
MSC Cruises is set to debut the longest slide on a cruise ship, The Spiral @ Tree of Life, on its new ship MSC World Asia. The 266-foot-long slide will be seven feet longer than the current record holder, The Ultimate Abyss on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas. The Spiral @ Tree of Life will be a dry slide, plunging 12 decks from near the top of the ship to a low-level deck. MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean have been engaged in a rivalry to create the most over-the-top slides on their ships.
