Summary
President Trump’s return to office was made possible in part because of increasing support from three traditionally Democratic groups: Hispanic voters, young voters, and Black voters. However, a recent Marquette survey shows that Trump’s declining approval rating is affecting these groups, with two-thirds of young Americans and 71% of Hispanics disapproving of his performance. Black voters have not come all the way home yet, with only 69% saying they’ll support a Democrat in their district. Democratic candidates in battleground states are struggling to regain support from Black voters, with some finding ways to stem the losses.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a card-carrying member of the DSA, also struggled with Black voters in New York City last year. The clock is ticking for the far-left. Michigan starts absentee voting on September 24. The state’s Senate race moves to toss-up in this edition of the Fox News Power Rankings. The national environment hasn’t changed, with Trump’s overall approval rating stuck in the 30s.
