Hotels are now using soap with holes to reduce waste. Because, apparently, solid soap was just too extra. Marriott is one of the hotels that has adopted this new soap design. The holes are meant to make the soap lighter, but it’s also a cost-cutting measure. Who knew soap could be so… hole-y?
It’s just another way to save money, but hey, at least it’s a step towards reducing waste. And who doesn’t love a good soap-related controversy?
The real question is, will this soap trend stick, or will it just be a hole lot of hype?
