Our reading

Max Mara has done what many of us do when we redecorate: taken a nostalgic trip to the past, but with more marble and fewer IKEA flat-pack shelves. The new Munich store is less a retail space and more a fashion-themed time machine, complete with 1958-era materials and a helicoidal staircase that looks like it was lifted from a Renaissance fair.
