Outernet’s app is another attempt to solve the “intent vs. action” problem. Because, apparently, we need an app to remind us to leave our homes. The app’s founders, veterans of the offline event scene, are now using AI to “nudge” users to visit saved places. Because that’s exactly what we needed – more AI in our lives. Outernet’s app is the latest iteration of the “let’s get people off their screens” trend. Yeah, good luck with that.
