Our Reading

The numbers tell one story.

Singapore’s 82 companies on the list may be fewer than Thailand’s 105 and Indonesia’s 104, but they generate significantly more revenue. Trafigura’s $240.3 billion in revenue puts it at the top of the list. DBS, Southeast Asia’s largest bank, and Flex, a global manufacturing giant, also make the top 10. Singapore’s companies may be smaller in number, but they pack a big punch.

Singapore is the land of giants, where a small number of companies generate a disproportionate amount of revenue and profit.
