Our Reading

The habit of loyalty gets a new name.

Kaiya Wynn’s dedication to the Tennessee women’s basketball program was unwavering, but it wasn’t enough to secure her a spot on the court on Senior Day. The crowd’s ovation was a testament to her impact on the team, but her absence from the game was a stark reminder that loyalty only goes so far.

Wynn’s decision to leave the team was not taken lightly, but it was a clear response to feeling undervalued. The message was received loud and clear: sometimes, loyalty isn’t enough.
