WhatsApp users were locked out, Meta says sorry, and promises to restore access. Because, you know, it’s not like this has happened before. “Under review” is just a nice way of saying “our algorithms got a little too excited”. And by “a little too excited”, we mean “completely wrong”.
Original observation: WhatsApp’s “under review” process sounds suspiciously like a euphemism for “we’re not really sure what’s going on”.
