Our reading
The Abzorb 2010 now has Gore-Tex, which means it won’t get wet. But New Balance didn’t bother to mention it on the product page. It’s like telling someone they got a free upgrade, but only after they’ve already paid.
Now, if you want to look like you’re prepared for winter, you’ll have to spend $175. The only thing that’s not waterproof is the marketing.
At least the Gore-Tex logo is on the heel. You can’t miss it, unless you’re wearing the all-black version, which is the stealthiest thing since stealth bombers.
