Our reading
The Halloween contest on Flirt4Free revolves around virtual pumpkin gifts, which fans use to tip models. The idea is that these digital pumpkins, which are presumably not edible, somehow make the event more festive than a regular night of camming.
It’s not clear if the pumpkins are meant to evoke autumnal cheer or if they’re just a way to make the tipping system feel less transactional, like a Halloween version of a tip jar that only accepts candy corn.
Either way, the models are presumably still wearing costumes, which is the real reason anyone would log in during October.
