Our reading
The site lists 51 memes as the ‘best so far this week,’ but the only thing they have in common is that they were posted in the same week. It’s like a playlist of songs from a random month, but you can’t tell which ones are actually good.
There’s a meme about an overactive brain and another about not knowing why you got failed in an email. The humor is so broad it’s like a meme version of a supermarket: everything is there, but nothing is special.
It’s not that the memes are bad, it’s that they’re all just there, like a group project where everyone contributed something but no one really cared.
