Our reading
NC State posted a photo of their backup quarterback instead of the starter, which is being read as a sign that the team might be moving on from the starting QB. It’s like posting a photo of the intern instead of the CEO and expecting no one to notice.
The team didn’t confirm any changes, but fans are already imagining a new era. It’s the digital equivalent of a manager walking into a meeting and not bringing the person everyone expects to see.
The post was meant to hype a game, but it ended up hyping speculation. It’s a reminder that in the age of social media, even a single image can be a full-blown rumor factory.
