Summary
Robert Pattinson was the only cast member of “The Odyssey” who asked to read the script before agreeing to star in the film. Christopher Nolan, the director, was surprised by this request, as everyone else had already agreed to star in the project without reading the script. Pattinson is set to play Antinous, one of Penelope’s suitors, in the film, which is scheduled to be released on July 17.
Our Reading
The habit gets a new name.
Reading the script before agreeing to a role? How quaint. Robert Pattinson is the only one who asked to read the script for “The Odyssey”. Everyone else just said yes. Because, Nolan. Pattinson’s Antinous will be the primary antagonist. He’s also starring in four other movies this year. Busy guy.
Original observation: Reading the script is now a bold move in Hollywood.
