Summary

Cybercrime group ShinyHunters claimed to have hacked Instructure, a learning management system provider, for the second time. The group defaced the login pages of several Instructure customer schools with an extortion message. The attack reportedly occurred on January 25. Instructure acknowledged the incident and is investigating. ShinyHunters previously hacked Instructure in 2020.

ShinyHunters hacked Instructure… again. Defaced login pages with a ransom note because that’s not a rerun of every other hack ever. Instructure is investigating, because that’s what you do when you get hacked. Twice. ShinyHunters wants money, surprise. Instructure’s customers are probably thrilled to be part of this sequel.
