Our Reading
The launch follows a familiar script.
Instagram’s new feature is called “Close Friends” and it’s essentially a clone of Snapchat’s Stories. It’s a feature that’s been done before, but now it’s Instagram’s turn. The 24-hour time limit is a nice touch, but we’ve seen this before. Instagram is just playing catch-up.
