Our Reading
The game followed a familiar script.
The Raiders came in hot, dropping a bunch of cash on some big names, but it’s not like anyone expected them to do anything else. They’ve been struggling on the OL, so getting Linderbaum in was a must. And hey, who doesn’t love a good ol’ fashioned spending spree?
But let’s be real, this is the Raiders we’re talking about. They’ve got a history of making moves that don’t always pan out. So, we’ll see how this all shakes out come September.
This one felt recognizable early. The Raiders are trying to make a splash, but we’ve seen this movie before. They’ll either come out on top or implode in spectacular fashion. Either way, it’ll be entertaining.
The result wasn’t surprising by the end. The Raiders are the Raiders, and they’re always going to be a wild card. But hey, at least they’re trying.
Original Observation: When a team is desperate for a splash, they often overpay for mediocrity, and the Raiders are no exception.
