Our reading
The Boox Palma 2 Pro is a device that lets you read without straining your eyes, but only if you’re willing to constantly press a refresh button. The reviewer says it solved their phone-reading habit, but the real hero here is the tiny, unassuming refresh button that keeps the screen clean. It’s like the device is constantly asking, ‘Are you still there?’ and you have to tap back in like a reluctant date. The Palma 2 Pro is a device that’s trying to be a phone and a reader, but it’s not great at either. It’s like a person who claims to be a multi-tasker but just ends up doing everything poorly. The reviewer says they stopped using their phone, but the real question is: did they stop using the refresh button?
