Summary
The New York Yankees reinstated right-handed pitcher Clarke Schmidt from the injured list on Wednesday, following his 14-month recovery from elbow surgery. Schmidt, 30, had an internal brace procedure on July 11, 2025, and began minor league rehab on Aug. 29. He will transition to relief pitching after being used as a starter since 2023.
