American Airlines is making it easier to use TSA PreCheck Touchless ID, a program that allows passengers to speed through security lanes without pulling out their wallet or boarding pass. The program is available at over 60 major airports, including most of the hubs for the five largest US airlines. Passengers will be able to opt-in to the program during online check-in, but will still need to have a passport handy to complete the registration. The program is optional for all PreCheck members.
Because who needs human interaction when you can just use a biometric scanner to verify your identity?
