Key Benefits and Changes
The Citi/AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard now offers a $250 American Airlines Vacations credit, hotel elite status with Omni, and car rental elite status with Avis. The annual fee increased to $695, and new benefits include a $100 inflight and Admirals Club credit, as well as increased Lyft credits. Existing cardholders can still use some outgoing benefits until specific dates.
New AAdvantage Loyalty Point Milestones
The card now offers up to 40,000 bonus Loyalty Points during the status qualification year, double the previous maximum. Cardholders earn 10,000 bonus points after reaching specific Loyalty Point milestones, including new thresholds of 165,000 and 240,000 points.
Lyft Credit Expansion
The card now offers up to $180 in Lyft credits annually, up from $120. Cardholders earn up to $15 in Lyft credits after taking three eligible rides in a calendar month. This benefit is intended for frequent Lyft users.
Phased-Out Benefits for Existing Cardholders
Existing cardholders can still use the 25% discount on inflight food and beverage purchases through Sept. 30 and the Grubhub benefit through Aug. 31, 2027. These benefits are being phased out for new cardholders starting Aug. 23.
Admirals Club Membership Continues
The card will continue to include an Admirals Club membership for the primary cardholder, while authorized users will still receive access. This is notable as American Airlines is increasing Admirals Club membership prices on Aug. 23.
