Free 5G phone requires Walmart activation, not just a purchase

Our reading
Straight Talk Wireless has somehow managed to make a Talladega weekend feel like a tech convention. The deal they’re pushing is less about saving money and more about making you feel like you’re getting something special—like a VIP pass to the future, but for your phone. The free 5G phone offer requires you to activate a Silver Unlimited Plan or higher at Walmart. So, you’re not just buying a phone; you’re buying into a lifestyle. And if you’re not careful, you’ll end up with a phone you don’t need, a plan you don’t understand, and a Walmart receipt that feels like a trophy.
