Summary
Lars Anderson, author of a 2026 biography on Tom Brady, said he would not be surprised if the 49-year-old quarterback attempted a comeback. Brady, who retired in 2023, has not played since 2022. He has seven Super Bowl rings and has been working as an NFL analyst since 2024. Anderson suggested Brady might want an eighth ring and could try to return next year. The oldest NFL player was 48 when he retired in 1975.
